Base coat dried for about 24 hours before adding the crackle. I crancked up the heat to about 30 Celsius. But the Montana paint dries quite quick anyways. The crackle paint (again, Montana) dried 24hours. Then 3 coats of clear on top of the decals. 2 min between the coats of clear. Again warm room, with pre heated rattle cans. Put them in medium warm water after shaking them. (Paint flows better.) I Also gently sanded with 800 grit paper where the decals was added before putting on the clear.
Thank you for explaining this, it's really helpful and the frame it looking brilliant. How many cans did you use? I have literally no experience with this so forgive me if it's basic knowledge! Do you think this can this be done on steel frames?
