Hulsroy Allroad Disc

Everyone needs a new bike. Wonderful human and talented metal tamer @Hulsroy is going to conjure up a versatile, disc brake allroad frame for me, after my Canyon died at the hands of an Opel Astra. The geometry will be based on that bike - an Ultimate AL - but with some modifications to chainstay lenght and the front of the bike, to accomodate a roomier fork - most likely the Specialized Fact from a Diverge I have in the garage.
Standard wise it will have BSA bottom bracket, post mounts, 44mm headtube and quick release rear.
Components have been gathered for a while and consist of the following stuff so far:
Rotor 3D compact cranks
Dura Ace bottom bracket
Sram Rival HRD 10s levers and calipers
Sram Force front dérailleur
Sram Force rear dérailleur
Shimano PD-R540 pedals
KMC X10SL chain
Curve branded DT Swiss 50mm carbon clinchers laced to Novatecs with DT Comps
Ritchey carbon seatpost
Kalloy Uno 7 stem
FSA Vero Compacts (or Ritchey EvoMax)
Selle Italia Superflow SLR

Yes, this.

Further things that were discussed during the planning phase:
Heelstrike, as I wear a size 48. The geometry of the chainstays will be identical to Mads' roadbike, on which he had now clearance issues with his size 47's.
Cablestops will be headtube mounted, with cables crossing underneath the downtube.
Front dérailleur will be band-on to minimize places where the paint will get marked/chipped.
Clearance will be enough for 28's and mudguards. Eyelets for mudguards will be hidden on the inside of the seatstays and underneath the wishbone.

Fork is post mount, calipers are post mount. No point in mixing standards and faffing with adaptors.

Paint is (most likely) going to be the cream yellow from Volvos 850R with mostly black components.

T47 bottonbracket?

We are currently waiting for the cast wish bone bridge and seat stay tube to arrive. This project has been two years underway and it won't be a rushed building process either. I have a lot of other projects going on and a full time job teaching. I will send Jesper photos and updates as soon as I have any. But I am very excited about building Jesper a frame :)
