@Jung@cagimaha I thought as much, and quite aware of the reputation that this bike has, hence why I didn't jump into it with open arms straight away.
As they say, there's no replacement for displacement, and understand the mechanics of a larger piston slapping around hence why I've kinda come to a bit of an impasse.
Hence looking for a striple that's been stuck in London most of it's life (can't really go far) by someone who has no hesitation flaunting the service book in my face with regular intervals.
Seems to be a good balance of fun/affordable to run.....I hope.
The absolute main issue is @hugo7 budget, and as much as I'd love to add an extra grand to the mix for a low mile'r, I fix bikes for a living...so that ability is somewhat restricted if I want to eat for the next month.
Reckon I might go see this and start with the paperwork before even turning the key in the bike.
