You generally do that (ITB's from an enclosed plenum) with a MAP sensor - for boosted applications. If you had a MAF post air-filter then I am making a massive assumption that it would be similar, although of course you might have momentary lag as the butterflies open - IDK.
Edited to add - the MAP sensors are post butterfly, generally, so thinking about it MAF might be totally unworkable.
