I think it has one after too, will examine further when I get a chance.
I really should stop dumping time and money into the subaru and figure out the parasitic draw on the lancia.

@NurseHolliday have you converted the MX-5 to Alpha-N for management?
If so, are you using a temperature sensor to moderate the map for air density?
How does it drive - most especially in terms of general drivability?

Not a great deal of progress on the Eunos today but did get around to improving the visibility out of the cloudy rear window. Brasso was pretty effective but found it's best to go easy being quite abrasive stuff. Slowly tidying up the engine bay a bit more but still want to remove the air con when I'm feeling brave but my next priority is going to be addressing some rust on the passenger door before it gets worse.

I seem to be unable to find a RAL code for Volvo Cream Yellow as used on the T-5R. Can anyone help me?
-
• #36038
I've ordered it before, I can't remember if I used the Volvo paint code though.
Matt might know it/be able to read it off a tin in the workshop - he painted my Path Racer that colour a few years back.

Chap has asked me to take 2k off the figures if we discuss money in front of his wife. This isn't going to make things easy I suspect. I take it to mean that we agree 5 and that means 7, but the probability of misunderstanding is high.
He's driven (well, driving still) down from Norfolk way, two and a half hours+ to see the car which has to mean he's somewhat serious.

Advertised for 8, I have told him I'll listen to offers. His response was to get in his car and drive 90 miles to come and see it.

In Citroen news,
admittedly not a DS, but at least better than an XM.This vehicle started life a semi-auto petrol,
but,
there is a guy in Diss with a workshop full of write-offs/spares/etc,
who converted it to a manual diesel.
Owner claims 45 mpg, (on motorway runs).

He has left, wishing to think about it - and speak with the mechanic who has looked after the car for the past ten years. He likes the car, whether he likes it enough to buy it is the question.

I'm a bit surprised, usually a 5-6 hour round trip means the deal is done, but I guess if he had his wife with him he wasn't going to be paying for it today.
If it helps with the negotiations I will offer £7200.

Yeah, I thought that could go either way - she might have driven the Merc they came in home, so he could drive the Volvo, or he'd need to come down another day on the train to collect it.
I don't think he wanted to do any negotiating in front of his Mrs. We'll see.
Whatever happens, the car is looking great at the moment.

I don't think this is going to happen.
