That's not how I roll, but I'll make you one if you can't live without :-)

Very very nice that last iteration.

Thanks.
This setup makes me very happy. I am currently designing a new frame with similar geo but longer and bigger 44mm head tube, carbon forks lighter tubing and non sliding dropouts. 650b wasn't for me, but 700c X 36c race tyre is exactly what I want. -
• #307
Funny thing is they look like 28's on that frame not 36's
-
• #308
Ok

• #309
Maybe do a frame that takes 26", 650b and 700c and mahoosive tyre clearances? That's what I want.
-
• #310
Well this has had 26"x2.25", 650b 2.1" but I just like 700c X 33-40c best

What tubing are you doing it with?
-
• #313
Columbus Zona. I have no need for anything fancier. Frame building skill level + durability = Zona :)

• #314
Are you doing ovalised this time too?
Can you recommend a budget ready made jigg?
-
• #315
Yes ovalised top tube.
I haven't done much research on this so I don't know. I have made two jigs now and bought one second hand which was made by a Danish bloke.
I seem to remember that The Bicycle Academy was starting to sell jigs. Maybe that's best value if you live i UK.
My dream is the Anvil system with argon back purge. But as long as you are just building for yourself or friends for free like I do you can get away with anything. Precision comes with practise and thoroughness.
My first bike was the cargo bike I built back in 2013 and that was constructed using laser cut ply wood jigs and strings for alignment :) -

I am going to sell this bike in bits.
Brakes are gone but everything else is up for grabs.
Frameset has been dibsed before but I can not remember by who.
Anyways get in touch if you are interested. I am going to make a sales thread soon.
My financial advisor has suggested £300 for frame and steel forks + Surly Nice rack £70 + £50 for the carbon forks and £150 for the wheelset. I'll sell the bits as well, I just need to take everything a part and find prices. -

noooooooo.... favourite forum bike coming to an end?
(it's not my size or I'd be delighted to get dibs instead of sad)
-
• #318
interested in the Surly rack and possibly the crabon forks if you can confirm what they are (too lazy to dredge through 12 pages, sorry :)
-

Black Surly Nice rack.
Forks are (maybe) Felt carbon with 1 1/8" alu steerer. I have given them a nice rattle can job.
I will sell them with the frame for now, but if new owner just wants it as a tourer ille sell them to you.And also it isn't sad that it is being sold. I am building myself a new bike with same geo just different specs. I have loved this bike and would love for somebody else to get pleasure out of it.

How tall are you again? Such a nice bike, I'm sure the replacement will be even better though!
Definitely interested in the rack for my Wolverine-would postage be ok? I'm working away for the next week so no rush or anything.
