Solid 10/10 the 'I will kill again' sticker is the icing on the cake.

Literally chucked whatever I had on this to get it rideable for this weekend, (wanted a bike that I could abuse a bit). It looks pretty hideous but rides ok. Needs a 26.2 seatpost, anyone got one south east? May have to bite the bullet and buy one new from the lbs..

Needs bigger tyres. also not really feeling the bars / braking set up, got a lot a flex.

I would Shim it! Think you'll be ok* if it's steel. Maybe just until you find a replacement

26.0 seatpost was required in the end. Caved and bought it from the lbs, they are very good to me.

Looks like the stem is the wrong size for the bars, there should be a gap in the clamp. If you have really stretched a right-size stem that much in the process of fucking it up, stop using it immediately or increase your dental insurance coverage.

I did wonder that, but what other stem sizes are there above 26mm? It's certainly not 31.8.

It is yeah. I ran out of paint and it was a bit patchy. But I just went and got another can to fix it up a bit. Matchy stem too far?
