  • Rishi Fox (152) has just scratched.

  • Cycling through the might've been a very smart move with the heat weave going on right now. Not sure if I'd dare doing that myself in Bulgaria/Serbia on a Friday night

  • @hippy Just go to a nice pub for reroute. Ride save.

  • The E81 is a pretty easy call, what about all the detours I'm doing? Will I have to scan through everyone in front of me checking all the banned roads I stumbled on that weren't on SV?

I'm tired, grumpy so I'm basically at the point where I'll take a no cycling road which looks bloody lovely mind, to finish and fucks the results.

Standing by roadsides checking Street view sucks.

  • I'm not even top 20 now with all this shit so does it matter? I have to still do E81 reroute somehow.

  • Basically, fuck this, pub? This is why TABR is better for me

  • Should I be winging about Ian to stealing my whining gig too?

  • "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery" I'd take it as a compliment to your mastery of the art.

  • You're safe hippy, one Facebook whine doesn't undo all your hard work on Twitter in the last week. :)

  • poor @hippy left hanging on his own in this thread cos the whole forum still asleep ... you're doing an amazing job, keep going!

  • Basically, fuck this, pub? This is why TABR is better for me

    Moo.

  • Might be my eyes, but on the Trackleaders replay the gap between Skinny and Bjorn got very small during their last sleep stops. Bjorn seems to have a few hours on skinny in their patterns now (?).

  • He was within 20km when I went to bed and wouldn't be surprised if he closed that gap, skinny had been stationary for 2.5 hrs though, so guess his lead was just under three. Not sure what happened since, how long Bjorn rested and left after skinny?

  • Looks under 40 k between them at the moment.

  • Skinny stopped first and Bjorn got pretty close. But Bjorn has also stopped. They both stopped for about the same amount of time so the gap is pretty much the same (c. 3 1/2 hrs)

  • The banned road statement said riders could share info about getting to CP4, is that happening? I guess each still needs to spend time checking for themselves tho.

    Keep going!

  • The French invented the route check.

  • Could toast with Absinthe if you could get some.

  • Nelson trees posted a warning about the E60 yesterday, don't know if @hippy has seen it

I just came off the E60 in Romania. Heard about the banning of the E81. Will not be going near it. The E60 is intermitently really bad too in my opinion. Narrow shoulder, heavy traffic with trucks and no concept of giving safe passing distance. I had a number of close calls.

  • I only saw a bit of paper until someone tweeted me. I asked if orgs had suggested alt route.

  • Can't wait to spend next three months grassing everyone up

  • That's the spirit!

Shit in people's helmets who wronged you too

  • it looks close to me but Skinny reckons there is a 4hr gap?

  • I think the gaps is dependant on Bjorn's next sleep. Can see Skinny pushing through to end now with no more sleep
