Cheers fella, I believe he's at Norths Birthday so don't expect a sober reply from him until around midday tomorrow at the earliest.

Would anyone be interested in a Titanium Stanton Slackline rolling chassis: 160mm Pikes and Hope / Flow EX wheels? 'standard' size, 26" wheels, still much, much fun. Heavily used but not abused. Really good fun in trail centers, and not too shabby on more XC stuff and cray stuff in the Alps too.
Hit me up if so.

Heavily used
Lies, you're a reyt skinny whippet.

• #10585
That's a properly lovely bike!
-
• #10586
Yeah, it's been fun. Done a whole lot on it. Nice and tough too, never felt I had to be precious about it.
-
• #10587
But it's your mudguard bike.
Too much overlap in your mtb collection now?

Thinking of going to Aston hill on Friday. Only have a 100mm of travel and 2.2's. I'll be all right, right?

You are gonna die

Come Swinley instead maybe?
Aston hill is great fun, last time I rode it I was on the tallboy so 11 rear 120 front and I survived.
-
• #10591
Well obvs you survived.
Sorry, swinley tomorrow. Aston Friday :-) -

Visiting my brother near Longleat this weekend, any recommendations for trails nearby? Windhill is the obvious choice but would prefer a nice loop in the countryside rather than a hardcore bikepark (the youtube videos of pros on the runs put off the other 1/2!)

Is it very wet in in the south-east of Engurland right now? Coz one drop of rain turns Aston Hill from sketchy and gnar, but fun, to skatey sketchy chalk ice rink gnar.
But still very fun.
Is it a hardtail you're on?
-
• #10594
You gonna get a new hardtail? Or are you now addicted to the full bounce experience?
-
• #10595
Not sure. I've had the Stanton a long time, might be nice to have a change.
That said I'm still only just discovering what it's capable of by returning to stuff I've used the full bouncer on.

Stanton have jacked up their prices a bit, was toying with the idea of picking one up but they're slightly out of range now given I have a cx bike like yours on the way. I think you'll regret selling that.
-
• #10597
Yeah probably
Can't see myself on a rowdy hardtail at 45 tho so it will need to go at some point
-
• #10598
Why ever not?!
