I have just found the single most amazing bit of road I have ever ridden.

I know it very well. I lived the other side of the ridge in Farway when I was a kid and our dogs went to kennels on that hill. It's a fucker to ride up.

Ha! Was something like this in Caversham (Reading) about a dozen years ago, in a chalk pit. Stumbled on it and might still have a nokia phone pic of it somewhere. Was super-scary / home made rad and wobbly and never saw anyone riding it - will go back and see if it's still there this weekend.

Riding up the Mont de Lans out of Les Deux Alpes. Got to the ski station at 3200m. Fab day out.

That's one of Albion's publicity pictures, I've got a postcard of it somewhere.

Interesting to see it made a roundup of press photography. It is a cracking picture.

The roads in Crete are pretty epic. This is just a little one we spied from a ferry.
