• The majority of their stuff is made in house in the Utah. All the wheels for sure are. It's the extras like forks and stems and that which are made in the far east.

  • only the wheels are made in the US, just like Zipp

  • How about Thomson parts? they're American, or is this bike going to be a lightweight project?

  • I have been thinking about Thomson for stem and bars as they are relatively affordable compared to Enve.

All Zipp is tempting if I can source some Zipp Vuma TT cranks

  • Hugely tricky to use fixed. You'll need custom rings and a 46mm chainline.

  • Please only get Enve stuff if you promise to Sharpie the logos or cover them in black repro decals, (or better yet sand them off) because their logo looks gash :-D

300% more so if you go with American Classics. The ugliest wheels since those Sram deep carbons.

  • american classic track hubs from classifieds onto a pair of some 'murican rims? sun ringle?

  • who buys an $8k frame and sells it on ebay a few months later for less than $2k, what do you do for a living to piss +$6k in the wind !?

go for double comete disc, save the tarck biek

  • My educated guess is someone sponsored.

You don't care when you are spending money that isn't yours. Then getting any cash back for something you didn't pay for is nice too.

Same applies to sponsored riders or shop owners (some are on here) who get stuff free or below trade price then shift it on here...

  • RE parts, Sexy stems and posts in Ti:
    Dean, Lynskey, Seven, Moots, Form

Lightning make a carbon road crank but wouldn't be good for track

As for pedals - I think the M2 racer orb are american made in titanium

  • Speedplays

  • who buys an $8k frame and sells it on ebay a few months later for less than $2k

people who care about the well-being of our economy ;)

@Vince Rotor 3D cranks with a carbon chainring would be too ordinary I guess?

  • I don't have much love for Rotor due to their proprietary bottom bracket.
    Also not american!

  • I'd love to see this painted bright metallic and fitted with a skinne flat crown fork.

  • I don't think I would get it repainted.

I am thinking of buying @hoops Parlee and ask him to paint track forks for this and for his...

  • Buy my Parlee. I do you deal on matching painted forks.
Not sure what that attachment is tho, it doesn't do open on my Mac.

Email me, we can work something out.

  • I have just received track forks to replace the Enve Road one (rake 43mm) that came with the bike.

They are brand new 2009 Focus Izalco Pista Team Katusha. The rake was unknown but I purchased them anyway. I cross checked today and they are 35mm rake.

The frame was designed for 30mm rake track forls so I will need to locate some...

  • Enve for sells?

  • They are indeed.

They are in excellent condition therefore happy to sell them for 50% off best online price

  • Just use the Enve? Rake makes bugger all difference.

Or buy my Oval Jetstream? Think they're 35mm but obviously v v rad.

  • I don't really know the actual difference the rake would make to the ride.
At least the Focus Team Katusha forks bring a bit of colour to the built.

Oval Jetstream would be awesome but they are thin on the ground.

In other news, I have purchased a silver 49t Salsa chainring (USA made) on here so that'll go in the parts box.

  • Oval Jetstream would be awesome but they are thin on the ground.

    buy my Oval Jetstream

Currently sat in the shower room at work doing nothing...

    Katusha forks would ruin this.

  • Do you want to part exchange the Enve forks?

  • Damn. £200 bit spendy for me.
I do think Enve suit the frame better than either of the above though
