John Deere have shown a prototype electric tractor but not sure they have reached the market yet. Alpine tractors are pretty niche so doubt they'll go electric soon.

Electric motors do have reasonable torque but it depends on the amps and voltage I guess. I think more than the amount of torque it's that they produce full power from zero rpm.

Afaik Current electric motors don't deliver enough torque. Perhaps in time but most people talk about buying a tractor that'll last a lifetime. Our long term plans are a new photovoltaic roof and electric personal vehicles.
