Did his nine year old son design that thing on the back of the headstock? #iwantmymoneyback

It's almost Comic Sans tho', so not completely without virtue...
-
• #4904
Sorry... I'll stick to 2-tone burst Tele-bass content in future.

To be honest my taste in music these days is watching the Alex Jones as Indie Folk song on repeat for daze.

These are quite nifty. Epiphone Lea Paul SL. $99. Kind of want one at that price! (Am I doing it right?)

no need to get salty.

Only joking!!! I hate it but who gives a fuck what I think?
Five string Stingray?
-
• #4909
Stringray?
y dey no do dis!?!?1!?

FTR I always hated @greenhell's Spector, fucking awful looking thing... We only kept him in the band cuz he looked good in a pork pie hat...
-

Never been a fan of Stingrays unfortunately. Always found them a bit ignorant, kind of the American muscle car of basses.
I might just end up getting a 5-string Jazz, I'd like a mid-scale Japanese one maybe?

Lightly salted at worst ;)

IMHO the only real option is a Fender VI...

Two tone sunburst, obvs...

hey fuck you buddy! it looks sweet all stickered up.
besides, i thought aram was the one we mocked relentlessly?
"don't clap for him, he's a fuckin' mexican"

Beautiful instrument but I do want a bass rather than a baritone. I've pretty much discounted most Ibanez on the basis of narrow string spacing even...
-
• #4917
I hear ya... I've never seen a five string Jazz but that sounds promising... We're a conservative lot, guitar/bass players... Bit odd really...
-
• #4919
Good god, why are they all playing different songs?
What a bloody din. -
• #4920
That is possibly the most horrible bass I have ever seen.
Digging the d-dropper machine head though. -
• #4921
You'll probably like my Jazz bass. I'll snap some pictures later.

Bibi digs the shortscale vibe

That Fodera is absolutely astonishing. What a crazy thing. Looks like a future bass, it's so well finished. I understand it not being someone's taste though

It's inlay I think isn't it? If it is, I like it; if not, not :)

You'd think the luthier would pay a designer a couple of hundred quid to design something that doesn't look like it came out of a WI baking competition... Especially when he's charging so much bloody cash for it, just looks shoddy and cheap to my eyes...
Aesthete's gonna aesthete, I guess...
Nope...
