FTR I always hated @greenhell's Spector, fucking awful looking thing... We only kept him in the band cuz he looked good in a pork pie hat...

Never been a fan of Stingrays unfortunately. Always found them a bit ignorant, kind of the American muscle car of basses.

Beautiful instrument but I do want a bass rather than a baritone. I've pretty much discounted most Ibanez on the basis of narrow string spacing even...

I hear ya... I've never seen a five string Jazz but that sounds promising... We're a conservative lot, guitar/bass players... Bit odd really...

That Fodera is absolutely astonishing. What a crazy thing. Looks like a future bass, it's so well finished. I understand it not being someone's taste though

You'd think the luthier would pay a designer a couple of hundred quid to design something that doesn't look like it came out of a WI baking competition... Especially when he's charging so much bloody cash for it, just looks shoddy and cheap to my eyes...
