but how much cool?

Tough question, I never had any custom work done on a frame so I don't know much about the pricing in that area, same goes for hub gears, never messed around with that. Maybe try to calculate your costs for the build to have some sort of ballpark figure to work with.
p.s. if there's a cp thread I'd be interested to see it -

welli was thinking a £grand would be be nice but am i over or underselling it?

Hub-geared fixed is quite niche, so your market is somewhat limited.
But I'd think that people who are into it, are very into it: eg recumbents and trikes etc.
And it's nicely done.
Without a broad base against which to compare, I look at what the figure I have in mind would buy: ie for the grand you're asking, what else could they buy?
eBay would be the last resort (as ever); I'd start with where the oddballs hang out: YACF, CTC etc.
And be confident with your pitch (but no flannel): "I'm not sure, does £1,000 sound reasonable?" immediately suggests it isn't.
Either way I don't think you can expect a quick sale.
A split will ultimately realise more and you're likely to sell some of it quickly, but you risk being stuck with the frameset (which is where most of the value is): the back brake mount adds practicality, but the lack of mudguard mounts means it isn't an entirely practical bike and the shifter routing will (I think) put fixeh-skiddrz off. So I'd try and sell it complete first.

What's a good price for a pair of NOS (boxed) 10 speed ergo-power era Record brifters?
(I don't have any, btw... I'm just in the market for some). -
• #2033
NOS adds between 50% and 75% IME, depending upon how rare/desirable it is.
-
• #2034
I would pay...
I'm not sure that's a sound basis for valuing something you're selling, particularly if you have an "emotional investment".
But better to start high, you can always come down...

does £165 sound like an ok deal?
-
• #2036
I couldn't say.
I was so traumatised by my C-Record years, that I forswore not just Campag but variable gears altogether.
:)

I got a track wheel im thinking of selling. Its a campagnolo record high flange 36h hub. Threads on one side with a cog and lockring. Spokes are tied and soldered. Rim is tubular and it rolls very smooth. Cant find a name on the rim. Tyre is brama i think. Any ideas how much i should be looking for? Seems old. Thanks all.

My previous posts tells me that I bought this 5 yrs ago. An now unfortunately N+1 tells me it really should go. What's it worth??..
(I'm assuming it's not worth myself changing the bars, and taking it on a trip to Mario Vaz prior to a sale). The old bubbles and tin worm trails were sanded down, to confirm that nothing went too deep in the Columbus SL tubes. (Corrosion was primarily on the tops of the tubes, the bottoms look very good). Filed and cut out lugs, with no dings or dents. Difficult to size, but I normally like a 56/57cm and the seat tube on this measures 56cm centre to top.
Every thing works tip top and includes a Spidel headset, 3ttt stem, Dia-Compe levers and "aero callipers" Radially spoked (old pink sticker) DP18s, StrongLight cranks with a recent'ish NOS StrongLight 48t chain ring. 600 indexed shifter, 600 tricolor hubs and 105 derailleur MKS Stream pedals, a great brown Rolls saddle (which I might swap out) and a new pair of 23 folding Continental GP 3000s. (in the photo it has a 25 on the front and 23 on the rear).
And yes, it's already made an appearance in anti.

Do you have a better pic? Looks like classic TT geo?

I sent some piccies to Dave Hinde shop, apparently it mid 80s. Although the shop I understand didn't have the best reputation for aftersales?

700-900 potatoes? It's been a while since I've posted here, and it's Friday? Am I missing something?

Prob around £200-300 in current state or with some new tyres/bars at least, this is based on whats sold on ebay recently. Not sure if it would gain much value if repainted.
This one below sold at £495 apparently -

Thanks for the replies. It's difficult to value your own bikes, and I haven't followed values in sometime. I was wondering if it could make mid/late 3s?
The pink one looks like a lot of interesting bike for 495?
