Bought a brand new cannondale supersix evo frameset this week after a few years on a CAAD10. Unwrapped it and to my surprise the paint at the top, all around the integrated crown race show signs of chips. Seems that they try to correct it with some sort of permanent paint too...it quite visible when the fork is in the headtube too. Looks worse in reality than on picture too. Before I complain, Is this normal? Or this is me being over the top?!

Send that shit back!

Contacted the supplier and that's exactly what I am doing, they agreed replacement. I just find it insane that you get that type of finish/issues on a high end carbon frameset!

I'm looking for a 56cm caad5,6 or 7 frame if anyone spots one that will post to Bristol. Paint not important as I'll probably respray. Also I have a 58 caad7 I'd trade . Cheers
Sold it as a complete just a few days ago, lost some money this way, but didn't want to split...it is a shame, but i was just not using it enough..carbon frame and rims are probably not first choice for commuting
