  • Did you not read all my posts about him and how he should have attacked the other day?

He was looking faster then, but he wasn't allowed to go. That's why I was pissed off.

I didn't see Froome crumbling like that coming though I'll tell you...

  • Called it. Got a lovely pay out of £34 for that.

  • Aw, Roman Bardet's braces have come off, he's all grown up.

  • Aru doesn't have a team to help him keep yellow, does he?

That's my worry. If he was in Sky I wouldn't be concerned...

  • I don't look forward to Froome probably winning GC on the TT stage :(

  • Froome surely.
    Betancur just gone....

  • Sky chased down Cummings to win the stage for Froome, and then lost the yellow jersey. If you're not a sky fan, today was a pretty good day.

  • Based on the prologue performances, at least 45 seconds is needed for Aru to win the GC. Not sure where he's going to find that other 39 seconds.

  • Looks maybe 16 now instead of 15 :)

    (I do like him)

  • OK, I'm surprised :)

Out of the armchair DS league, haha

  • im still holding out for dan martin to do something...

  • It's going to be like that stage where Cummings was free and gone Be then hit a similar wall at the end.

  • Interview with Landa on Eurosport just got translated in a way which made it sound very passive-aggresive.

"We did our job, and then Froome couldn't finish it off"

Ouch. You would be annoyed though, he got towed for 200+km and then beaten to the line by one of his domestiques, who's already pulled off to give you a run at it.

  • I absolutely adore ITV's annual On A Ragga Tip outro.

  • Is Landa going to give Froome a taste of the medicine that the latter dishes out to Wiggins in 2012?

Either way, Froome losing yellow and looking below par is great for the race. Which, let's be frank, is needed.

  • is there not an 'unwritten rule' that you have to take the yellow bar tape off your bike for the warm down if you lost the jersey?

  • Cummings on Sky: "It didn't really seem like they had to do that."

  • This.

But mainly, it was hugely disrespectful of Bardet to attack while Froome was struggling up the hill.

The other GC contenders are supposed to put their arms around the yellow jersey and waft them over the line if they're not up to it.

  • What happened to Fuglslang today?

  • He suffered a lot, he's got some broken bones in his elbow I think.

  • He was pushed quite a lot to say that really. He was careful to say it was none of his business how Sky conduct themselves.

  • Honestly think Froome struggled on those high gradients at the end, but wouldn't be expected to on a steadier climb/finish. He's not crumbled, not by a long shot.

  • He still said it, and then backed off by saying: "But they're smarter than me."

  • He has a point!
