Ah , yea, you aren't in a great position. Who serviced it last? The allen head looks like it's a right mess too. Over tightened.

Its not been serviced. Its not even been ridden that much. I was using a pair of pliers to hold the washer thing straight and stop it turning while I tightened the bolt. Slipped and damaged the head a little. None of this helps my case!

Guess i'll just ride it and not spend any money on it. Anyone need a set of unused hollowgram cranks?

The bikes currently got gossamers. I've got some hollowgrams spare.

Do you mean convert the hollowgrams? I didn't realise that was possible

You can buy the OPI 1X direct mount ring for 'em...

A narrow wide chainring is all you need. You can use any crank for 1x

Or a fancy direct mount one ^^

For road 1x I think I should be looking to go 50 - 11/39. Looks like the OPI only goes up to 45t

They did have a recall / service bulletin on them due to the fork crown developing cracks tho

Yeah could do it will need new seals and whatnot but should be able to get them

I'm always weary of headshocks but if Howard says it's serviceable then he knows cannondales more than anyone else on here haha. I'd love one but that's just too damn small
