I'm reading some more forums and they go into even more depth. 9/16" vs 9/18" string gap!
I will have to wait until I get the actual thing in my hand before I decide what to do. I was just so stoked that I posted the pics here haha

It's pretty damn obvious when you've got it in front of you - mine was easily several mm out, but it's perfect in terms of the pole piece position now.
And you should be stoked - I love mine. Just so simple, but can cover so many styles with ease. The pickups are particularly good - they give it that edge so you can get really heavy, but they clean up really nicely too.

Yeah it is a bit annoying, especially as they weren't exactly budget guitars when they came out! Still, I think the replacement bridge is much nicer than the Fender one anyway, so it's a worthy upgrade, especially with the stainless saddles.
