Argghhh, nooo. I bought a "nice" guitar to avoid problems like that haha.

I'm a total perfectionist so, whilst this is welcome knowledge, I'll now have to deal with it!

Yeah it is a bit annoying, especially as they weren't exactly budget guitars when they came out! Still, I think the replacement bridge is much nicer than the Fender one anyway, so it's a worthy upgrade, especially with the stainless saddles.

I'm reading some more forums and they go into even more depth. 9/16" vs 9/18" string gap!

I will have to wait until I get the actual thing in my hand before I decide what to do. I was just so stoked that I posted the pics here haha
