  • I don't know, if he invented it - but at some point he passed it on like some secret bike guru stuff.
    I guess you need a good length of solid 6-8mm steel rod and even so it might not work.

    I like how he tries to loosen the vice the wrong way afterwards :)

  • And I thought I had come up with the idea to drill a hole in the seatpost perpendicular to the seat tube and the use that to get leverage. Turns out, they've done that too .
    But I have a feeling that might work best on steel posts, as an aluminium one might just shear.
