^^Thanks man. I try. Am on a mission to keep the creative process rolling and get things finished and out there. Got quite a backlog still to record but that's a brand new one.
It was written on holiday in the hour and a half I managed to get to myself every day when the baby went for her siesta. Did a iPhone demo when I got back last week and managed to find 2 hours yesterday afternoon to record a few live takes and do a rough mix.
Recorded the banjo part last night in a 20 minute window of freedom while my wife was trying to get the baby off to sleep upstairs before going up to take over myself. Got the baby off, had a sandwich then finished the mix lying in the spare room at midnight last night. Posted it today and am looking forward to the next tune.
Still struggling with the concept of online self-promotion but am resolved to keep churning out the goods and up the promo game from absolute zero effort to maybe just a couple of hours a week, if only to send out bios and book gigs.
