Sounds similar to what I had - turned out to be corrosion at the junction of rim/tyre bead, leading to an imperfect seal at the correct pressure. Took it to the garage and they took the tyre off, sanded down the rim and painted it. Would need to look at the invoice to see what they charged for it, but IIRC it was ~£70

70 notes sounds a lot less painful than a new tyre. it's due for its 45 000 klick service in a few months. sure i'll last that long.

4 of are going in the Landrover (Series 3) and I am short of a theme....I wanted to paint it florescent orange and go as 'Clockwork Orange' but was told 'No' as it would not go down well in Ireland. Previously I have done Leprechauns (last year), Star Wars (2015) & Mountaineers (Lederhosen) (2014).

So any suggestions for 2017's theme ?

For what it's worth I live in Dublin and I know what people in your ear are getting at but doing the Clockwork Orange thing would be no issue in Ireland whatsoever.

This is true. I'm going to see what the car looks like in the sunshine, the advantage of wrapping with vinyl is that it can be removed in seconds and a new shade applied in minutes.

Especially as litronics should always be clear. Just saying...
