Bummer. Feared that was the case. I enjoy climbing on the tops so I guess I wont buy them.

Climbing on the top section is actually probably the most enjoyable part about them - it's just enough to get your hands round while still having your palms comfortably resting on the flat. I just don't like the look of them.
