Anyone got any recommendations on breathable external paint to go over lime render? Don't really want to use lime wash so was looking at silicate paints, but they are pricy so wouldn't mind some first hand experience.

We usually specify Keim.
It's expensive, but apparantly goes a long way.
A thing with silicate paints is that due to colour variations and fade you can't really touch up, but have to repaint entire surface if there's a repair in the future.

Yes Keim was another one I have on the list.

Looking into it it may actually be cheaper than the other one I found...
