Funny how collectables go.
I'd think most half decent / non-fugly Pateks will hold their value. But I can definitely see logic that the Aquanaut's rep as the poor man's Nautilus resulted in lower volume production, sales, and run-life. All of which makes it more likely to be seen as a desirable collectable.
I'll be honest though, after seeing on in the flesh the other weekend I thought it looked a bit meh. Whereas the Nautilus just looks right.
