I cannt say he has sold it for me !!

I think anyone who has seriously considered riding an ultra endurance event knows that it'll take you to dark places. We've been fortunate that @hippy has shared his experiences of this with us.

The fact that he's stuck at it after his early misfortune demonstrates his mental fortitude. I've nothing but respect for him, even if I take the piss.

I wonder if he's finally lost some weight?
I'm sure it'll stay off for all of a week.

Exactly this, it's been an admirable and inspirational performance.

The grit and determination of the British must have rubbed off on him.

I am a bit of a hippy fanboy.

When I grow up I want to be able to ride like him.

Hippy inspires me to ride bikes.

I'd be happy if I could even finish the Trans Am.... At all... Let alone finish as high up the rankings as @hippy
And especially as it wasn't exactly a trouble free ride.... Awesome performance!

If there are any bike issues that need sorting for the remaining distance, I have a hunch that Mechanicsville might be a good place to get them looked at.
