Transistor is worth checking out also. Mafia 3 seems like a good deal also. Also Oxygen Not Included looks awesome, though I am a bit of a Klei fanboy.

Considering Dishonored 2 & Sniper Elite 4. Anybody got either and can comment on optimisation? Going to be running them on a Surface Pro 2, not exactly a purpose-built gaming rig...

There's a Ghost Recon sale on Steam at the moment if you want to pick up the old games for cheap.

Can't comment on optimisation (i7 + gtx1080 for me) but Sniper Elite 4 is lots of fun.

It's one of the few series that I can see a significant step forward in mechanics with each iteration. Recently completed 3 which was a significant step forward from 2 (especially regarding AI). Watched a few Lets Plays of 4 and it looks much better still.

May as well have a pop at it, just need to free up 40GB or so. Damn modern games.

Dishonored 2 has massive minimum specs to run

@mmccarthy while hte specs might be high, since release it's been optimized and is a really fun game. Just don't expect to run it at 4k with everything on max unless you running titans.

I run on high, 1440p with a 1070GTX / i7 and get easily 60 fps (mostly ~70)

Hah! Don't worry I'm used to 720p with little/no AA!

Any experience with the DLC? There seems to be quite a lot of it, and the season pass is relatively pricey!

neighbour finally relinquished my switch this morning after signing for it yesterday then going out for the evening (rude). got it wired in to telly and amazon primed a switch pro controller as much closer to usual console control which I prefer. played about an hour or two of zelda. so far so fun. done 3 shrines and had my first foray into the cold mountains which required some spicy soup i knocked up to keep me warm.

not seeing the total omg wow factor yet but think i need to unlock more abilities and some more areas to get the full scope.

oh and I fucking died as soon as I discovered the tower thing by falling off it immediately #getgudn00b

Ah yeah I was talking about Sniper Elite (should've specified that really!). It runs at about 20FPS at 720p so unfortunately it's going back!
