    I've looked at those. There are lots of sentimental reasons it appeals.... and aesthetic obvs.

    Have you seen one in the flesh? That's what I'm nervous about. You can easily bounce a Seiko dive watch on at -10% if I didn't like it, but I don't about the time factors.

    The other irrational thing is although I like less obvious brands, I don't attribute the same brand cachet. There's something attractively honest about watches like casio, swatch, or seiko.

  • A quick look at ebay completed listings shows that the Precista 82s generally sell on for £350+

    Some timefactors watches do incredibly well second hand, but I think those tend to be the limited edition ones.
