Just wear it. In twenty years when your looking through your pictures of the big day and you catch a glimpse of it popping out from under your sleeve you would have forgotten that it was losing two seconds an hour. When you give it to your grandson it will still come with the story "I wore this when I married your grandmother."

If you get stuck, I can oil the balance jewels and lower jewels for free which may or may not give it a lease of life. The crown/stem will usually become loose when the bolt screw is loose, which is quite common; nothing to worry about. I'm over in Leytonstone, near the tube.

Sod's Law, my HS8 (which I was going to wear to my wedding on Saturday) seems to be sticking. The crown and stem kept pulling all the way out recently, but all working fine, and today the second hand sticks 2 or 3 times a minute.
Anyone on here have the knowledge to give it a look over? I've not got a lot of spare cash at the moment so can't afford to send it away anywhere and would love (if poss) to get it working again by Saturday...!
