And they thereby fall in the fact free zone of "we must Brexit to protect UK workers from competition with under 5% unemployment, jobs people simply won't do and all that". Frustrating as other Labour plans such as improving skills and wages could mitigate the need for skill immigration.
Of course I'm not a proper worker, cos I don't hold a British Passport. eyeroll
Labour traditionally sticks up for workers rights, and that includes protecting jobs from outside competition, i.e. immigrants.
