Fired it up and made a new character, Military Veteran armed with a pistol and an Axe, much better than the cane.
Got to the 1st boss this morning, devoid of Molotov's as I used them all on the werewolves before it. Did about 50% damage before being brapped. Had to go to work so will have another crack tonight and see if I can keep some Molotov's for the boss.

I'm glad to hear you say that actually! I tried jumping in on 1 and 2 but found them a bit cheesy (enjoyable but crude) so I've not bothered with 4. Sounds like it's a bit of a different beast. I think I'll jump straight in with 4. Thanks dude.

Just received Cave Story+ for Switch.

Nearly fainted when I saw bonus mini CD with soundtrack (probably) and full colour manual with so much in it.

Playing bloodborne with the cane is about styling it. Basically harder mode.

Although keep on that path and get the blades of mercy and you'd be a horrible murder machine.

Thargoids have returned in Elite...

So saw all of them in person at E3 (didn't have time to play). Every one of them looks great. Oh, and Detroit. That game looks awesome (but maybe a bit too much like Heavy Rain).
Also a bunch of the VR games looked good, but fuck buying Skyrim AGAIN

Yeah Detroit: Become Human... everyone just shortened it to Detroit. I'm watching it, it's not a must buy yet but will have to see more of the game play.

Metro Exodus just makes me think of STALKER. This is a good thing, and I loved 2033 / Last Light (even though I got stuck in LL). I didn't even bother to check it out since I knew I'd just order it.
