Well no, my experience is fairly limited, but what I would consider 'typical' gravel roads aren't clay based. Obviously gravel as a genre incorporates anything that isn't paved, so can be pretty much any kind of earth possible. I'm just saying Strade Bianche style classic gravel isn't going to clog your tires if it rains.
