I think one of the main problems is actually too much tyre. He's got custom-made carbon rear arches and cyclewings, and runs 265 tyres at the back. Lots of grip in the dry, but they're semi-slicks and in the wet the tyre loading is so low, with the light weight of the car, that they don't disperse water and you can't get any heat into them.

Yeah - looks like he could use a little more wing on that. Or Traction control. Or restraint. Or all of the above. 380bhp in a 560kg car sounds bananas.
