Sometimes I'm forced to wear a helmet for work, so occasionally I'll ride with it strapped to a bag etc as I don't normally wear one for commuting.
Once or twice I've carried a bag of helmets, attached to a pannier or something, for other people to wear.
Probably should have worn all 8 of those helmets for added safety.
Elbows, wrists and knees are good places based on common cycling injuries. Not sure where to put the other 2.
I saw someone commuting in full elbow/knee guard set-up the other day. Takes all-sorts I suppose.
