A sniff over 258 for me, 12 miles down on last year, I never felt as if I was stomping yesterday, had a really bad patch between 100-150 miles, I think my head went a bit, the section to Chawton is a joke, ditched the helmet at 8 hours, really need to thanks Jo and Les from the Hounslow for giving up their whole day to help me and to clubman for the shouts, thanks guys also thanks Racescene (Richard Maxwell) for the bike, must admit I do love it, washed all the muck off of it this morning, 25 next weekend, might ride 49x14 fixed. Great pics by the way, well done to all the finishers yesterday, the wind was horrendous. Cheers all. Nic
