I'm going to be really sad when the Conservatives finally overtake Labour in seats gained. It's getting close now.

BBC saying Con vote share predicted to be 44%, same as Blair in 97 and Maggie in 79. Interesting how politics has changed.

77.4% turnout in Chester. Awesome stuff. And it's increased the Labour vote by 13.5% to give them over 50% of the vote in a seat that was a Tory target with a majority of just 93.

So hung Parliament..? May looked as if she had had a tough night when she gave her speech.
Good results for labour. Happy for Corbyn. -

A seat is a seat - sad she's in it but it's another red box filled. She'll have a constituency full of newly energised idealistic voters looking to change what they don't like - if that ends up being her all the better.

Still got a lot of time for Nicola Sturgeon. She's honest, upfront, and seems trustworthy.
I can completely see why they wanted to call another independence referendum as well, seeing as the shite that the unionists came out with tended to be based on the EU membership. But I think they just misjudged how little appetite there was for more uncertainty and disruption, like the Lib Dems did with their second referendum promise.

Given that it's looking pretty possible that a Tory + DUP coalition could end up coming in, would a Tory majority actually be better?
I think I'd prefer the tories to just scrape in rather than be beholden to the DUP. A bit of a dilemma.
I'm too tired for this
