  • I'm too tired for this

  • labour/tory results gap to 3, feels like rest of this is going to start to suck now.

  • I'm going to be really sad when the Conservatives finally overtake Labour in seats gained. It's getting close now.

  • Great minds, Hatebread.

  • Nicola in the house tho

  • Just watch the + and - seats graphs. Currently +22 for Labour -10 for Conservative.

  • BBC saying Con vote share predicted to be 44%, same as Blair in 97 and Maggie in 79. Interesting how politics has changed.

  • 77.4% turnout in Chester. Awesome stuff. And it's increased the Labour vote by 13.5% to give them over 50% of the vote in a seat that was a Tory target with a majority of just 93.

  • +22

You've just inadvertently linked to a forumenger there.

  • Ukip vote has declined from 12-14% back down to negligible bnp levels.

  • It is comforting to hear that Hastings is getting a full recount, apparently it's a matter of a couple of hundred votes.

  • So hung Parliament..? May looked as if she had had a tough night when she gave her speech.
Good results for labour. Happy for Corbyn.

  • Vauxhall - majority of 20,000 for labour - proud moment

  • Amber facing a Battle?

  • It's gone back up to 9 anyway!

  • No way. How can you be proud of Hoey! (I live in Vauxhall)

  • Rudd still clinging to the ballots screaming.

  • Something something climbing a bexhill.

  • Stony-faced much?

  • A seat is a seat - sad she's in it but it's another red box filled. She'll have a constituency full of newly energised idealistic voters looking to change what they don't like - if that ends up being her all the better.

  • Still got a lot of time for Nicola Sturgeon. She's honest, upfront, and seems trustworthy.

I can completely see why they wanted to call another independence referendum as well, seeing as the shite that the unionists came out with tended to be based on the EU membership. But I think they just misjudged how little appetite there was for more uncertainty and disruption, like the Lib Dems did with their second referendum promise.

  • Amber facing a Battle?

I suppose the way things are going, we'll know at 10:66am.

    Wait ...

  • Sun headline: 'Theresa Dismay'

  • The Amber Rudd recount game is strong on twitter.

  • Given that it's looking pretty possible that a Tory + DUP coalition could end up coming in, would a Tory majority actually be better?

I think I'd prefer the tories to just scrape in rather than be beholden to the DUP. A bit of a dilemma.
