  • hahaha put it on a T-shirt and photo bomb her resignation speech tomorrow :)

  • Well if the DUP loses seat, it makes it harder for the Tories to do a deal. I really hope they lost Belfast East to Alliance, Belfast South may be SDLP (again) who have a sorta agreement with Labour. Labour never stood here cos of that agreement.

SF, yeah, nuff said. I bet they still draw their salaries though...

  • Sunderland soon - Will UKIP have ceased to exist please God.

  • Who are the DUP? I can't even get to their manifesto pages as it looks like their websites being swamped.

In my mind they're unpleasant uber torys - is that true?

  • What they made them sound like on BBC.

  • ^^ yes

  • Sinn Fein = Catholic pro-single Ireland
    DUP = Protestant pro-UK

DUP are effectively like the Falklanders and Gibraltar parties in being very pro-UK and pro military, etc.

They side with the Tories all the time, their party whip is basically always going to act in the same way as the Tory whip, but they are seldom to never needed.

  • Don't forget Brexit negotiations start in 11 days :)

  • So many seats too close to call though.

There will be a lot of recounts.

  • Yehboi, nice one Newcastle central.

  • first seat is labour

but against the exit poll it shows the conservative proportion was understated

  • My prediction for the whole night: The one thing that could've changed the result did... the young voted in larger numbers than before.

  • Thanks. That guy on the BBC looked like a piece of work .

  • Newcastle labour vote lead up 25%

  • My feed is a minute or so behind eveyrone else it seems. I still don't have the Newcastle results.

  • Yes - UKIP down 11%

  • Shortest serving prime ministers

  • The Commons is 100% Labour, 100% female and 100% ethnic minority.

    We could stop now?

  • Largest unionist party in Northern Ireland. Hard right. Pro-Brexit.

    So pretty much, yes.

  • Though they say they've mucked up the SNP exit poll, so presumably labour is an overestimate.

  • The EU have said that if there is en unexpected election result, they would happily delay proceedings for as long as we wished.

  • So that'll be a 15% rise in Labour majority for the first result in Newcastle.

  • Got a text from my mum saying she knew something was afoot when she heard my 18 year old cousin had stirred from the sofa to vote.

  • @Velocio well done on all your hard work with the tactical2017 website. Smashed it! You made definitely made a difference.

  • sunderland - labour

it looks like the ukip votes are indeed going tory more than was expected by the exit poll, so looks likely that tory will have a majority
