Huge congratulations on getting the approval for the women's track bike race.

Thank you! I finally put my slight fixie famousness to good use. I just hope enough women enter it now to make it a good race.
There's always ThunderCrit on May 6th to practice at if you want to get some experience before the Nocturne!

The Concours d'Elegance should be fun, too -- there may be some noted cycling potters in attendance, too.

Interesting backstory, and for a good cause, too"The Architects’ Company realises that the spaces between buildings are a key element in the development of good city planning and is keen to support Corporation initiatives for creating a more amenable City as a key element in its offer to business as a great place to work. The London Festival of Architecture takes place during the month of June and is an important event in the promotion of London as a major global hub for creative and construction services.
Individual entries cost £10 and all proceeds will go to our Official Charity Partner - London Air Ambulance. Additional donations can also be made during registration"

Ha! It's not the spray that is the issue, it's more riding brakeless in the wet is a no go for me.

-
• #23

-
• #24
Maybe next year, seems like the races are fixed this year ;)
-
• #25
I didn't think he needed a competition to crash it in the first place.
Rapha is title sponsor of the Nocturne this year. There's going to be everything you've come to expect from the Nocturne plus an extra sprinking of Rapha magic, including lots of rides during the morning/day which will finish at the event with a lap of the course before the racing starts and more cool stuff going on around the course.
Also the Track Bike race now has a separate, equal length women's race, something I personally fought for after it wasn't included in last year's edition, so it would be great to see a big women's field to prove that it was worth putting on. If you are thinking of racing fixed crits this year, or know someone who is, sign up sign up!

I don't run the operational side of the race sign ups or organisation but I'm going to be kind of involved so if you have any questions about it just ask and I can pass them on.
