I saw a video of the crash. Pretty nasty, with an inexcusably unprotected concrete bollard as the offending article. Have also seen pics of Alex in his hospital bed today, joking about getting on the turbo tomorrow, so at least he's in good spirits, but he won't be taking part in either the Diamond League or Junior Euro champs he had lined up. :(
@doubleodavey - I'm in for the Ladywell 10,000. Should be enough time to get fit again, and I've also volunteered for pace-making in one of the earlier races. It's our club's 3,000m this Thursday (@juanito?), which I definitely won't be fit for, but I'm pacing the "C" race for a bit of practice.
