Are 12s about slow/fast riders, or is it more about attrition and stamina?
Well a chunky ftp will obviously help. The winner will do over 26mph so aerodynamics matters too.
But being able to suffer is a big part of it all. And pacing. And fuelling. And not getting punctuers.
...and not breaking your tribars on the slab joints between Holybourne and Chawton.
Fuck, I'd be pleased with sustaining 26mph over an hour, let alone 12.
