If there is anything we've learned about May since she became PM is that she is shameless (see speeches against Scottish independence, and claims about being stronger together; see recent interviews with Marr and Paxman). Some would say she lacks self-awareness, but I think she just doesn't have any faith in the electorate recognizing it. I worry she may be right.
