  • Similar: try warming the mackerel slightly with some de-skinned orange segments and finely sliced celery - top with toasted pumpkin seeds. Lovely fishy salad.

  • Summer is nearly here and as I have learnt its time for glutenous rice and pork dumplings, I'm trying to make some. pork belly 5 spice and soy, rice, mung beans and slated egg yolk. Wrapped up in bamboo leaves and then steamed.

  • @Rich_G want me to ask the GF's dad how he does his glutinous rice? It's the pengest

  • Also crispy chicken skin and sriracha mayo are must have accompaniments

  • Yeah that would be great any tips are good, me and the the other half are using internet and memories of how her mum makes them, the first ones turned out ok but could have put more flavorings in the pork so that it goes in to the rice more. Enjoyed making them.

    Chicken skin and hot mayo will now be eaten with them ;)

  • Good for a cheap snack empanda mama and Caracas arepa bar, good diner styles for Russian / polish is vaselka, los tacos in Chelsea market are ace.
    Ivan ramen is good.
    okonomi / yuji ramen in Brooklyn was good, small cute place in a quiet neighborhood something a bit different.

  • Bruno Pizza and Mission Chinese are musts.

    David Changs restaurants are quite good.

  • Living few blocks away from Roberta's .. you been to Peter Luger? I am just following where munchies/vice takes me ;) If you have any alt-steak recommendations I am all ears. I need steak.

  • Marea or osteria morini - plus you can get awesome pasta

    Don't forget russ and daughters for traditional Jewish deli food

  • Had a trip to Max's Sandwich Shop tonight after watching the football. Pretty special sandwiches.

    A ham, egg and chips and a Korean beef one.

  • Thee Barbary in the covents garden is a very good, which surprising considering most places in that area are fucking shit. try the octopus.

  • Leavig the country at the end of June, time to clear the apartment, that includes some cooking book I am not keeping.

    First up, @Olly398 collection of cookbooks. Free for grabs, going as a lot.

    Second up, food/travel related books, I'd ask £10 each for these.

    Third and last, some random books, £5(first picture)/£3(second picture) each seems reasonable to me.
