If you have smaller hand, then look into the reach adjustment of your Shimano levers, this will make a big difference in being able to comfortably brake in the drop.

Thank you ed, I think it's indeed a mather of km's and minor adjustments.
I'm relative short, shorter arms and smaller hands. Did some measuring and I should have a 40cm bar instead of this default 42cm.
I now have my eyes on Profile Design
DRIVE bars that are more fitting for my size. 1/zerofive in 40cm. Will see what it does.
