Just chasing some info. on this frame - if anyone can help me out? I'm based in Australia and found this at a local garage sale (so please excuse the questionable paint job)... But, yep, can't seem to find anything on it.
Cheers.

Is there a code on the BB shell? And is that a head badge or just cable rub?

Looks like a Bianchi C.U.S.S. or something from that range

Hiya guys
Just acquired this holdsworth track frame from this very forum. I'd love to know the model and year if at all possible. It's got an unusual seat tube diameter (26.6) but standard bb and headtube.
Here's some pics, number on bb shell is hard to make out.
Any information is appreciated
Edit: according to retrobike it's from 1982, still don't know the model though as the available online catalog dousing include track/path frames.

Looks like the top nut is possibly from another headset (is it steel?)
The rest could be chorus or Athena imo but waiting to be corrected by someone more knowledgeable..

Or is it a Centaur? I think they might have used that type of locknut on the C-Record era type headsets?
-

Think centaur was introduced in the early 00's
By this time they were marking the headsets with 'record' 'chorus' etc..?

Nice! I stand corrected. Don't think it's what bob has tho, is that from their MTB range?

Does this frame look familiar to anyone? It was suggested to me that it might be a British 80s bike but have no idea what it could be...

Yah, MTB.
Centaur didn't resurface in road guise until 2002 and Campag only offered Record and Chorus headsets by then.

Hey guys, not sure if this is the right place to post this so apologies in advance if it isn't:
Does anyone know anything about this Ghibli wheel and why it's black? I have never seen/heard of a Ghibli wheel that was black before
Thanks in advance

Is it possibly just a white disc wheel that someone's redecorated?

It crossed my mind but I have just found a thread on here where @Carabo sold one of these:

Maybe he can shed some light?

Sounds like the answer you need is in that post? one of the later models that takes cassettes, not freewheels?

I think it may have been a rental bike - triandrun used to rent out bikes at events and they were always badged up like that - usually pro-lite iirc
You're wellcome, @AlexD
They produced frames from gas-pipe quality to high end. Eddy Merckx became amateur World Champion (in 1964) on a Superia. ;-)
