Soap water and WD40 seems to be a good combo. Will try!

Got this in my mail today
Mack Superlights coming in at 127g (front) and 215g (rear)
Yes, the edges were deburred so well that I dared to put the lock rings on my display
Top notch build quality and really smooth surfaces. 10 weeks of patience definitely paid off!
The remaining parts for the wheels are also ordered so the last bit is the bottom bracket. On that front I'm waiting for an answer from a forum member.
SOON!

With the Mack hubs, I noticed that you had ordered them direct rather than from sm-parts, is there any specific reason for this? I'm looking to get a hold of some of them myself, but I wouldn't have the patience to wait 10 weeks!

No real reason other than custom colour options. But as I went for plain silver in the end, I could have ordered from sm-parts as well.
I'm not sure if they really have all the colour and drilling options they list in stock though. -

I ordered through SM-parts - took 3 weeks since they didn't have stock even though the homepage said so. 3 weeks is ok for me.

Rimzzzzz
DT Swiss R460db (shoutout to @Thuekr !)
Visible joint
Also both rims aren't true, they show an offset of about 2mm
Can't bitch about it though. They are less than half the price of Archetypes, are just as good and look better.
I'm thinking of removing the stickers. They look better than I thought but I might just remove them for a cleaner look. And as a finisher unspectacular stuff. The Super Sport Plus are for shredz as skidding through 4000SII might be quite expensive.
Bottom Bracket is also ordered and should be here by the end of this week. Until then the wheels have to wait because I want to take that photo everyone takes. You know the clichee one with every single part spread out ;)
I'M SO HYPEDDDDDD

Saw it on IG a few days ago. Hugely inspirational build. Frame was yours before, right?

Right - building something new, I'll keep you updated

How about photos of your DF4 everyone is asking for to begin with :P

You are so right :)

I built the wheels yesterday. I'm not patient enough for this. So I tried to shoot the photo without the bb and came to conclusion that I'm not creative - and again - not patient enough to make it look good.
I cried when I saw this on IG today
At least the wheels are built and the front is also trued. I don't want to look too thirsty but: https://youtu.be/ecJEVE_DuhM
I'll try to finish the rear wheel tomorrow and take proper photos of both then. They don't look as fancy as deep carbons but still sick enough :)And on a side note:

So glad someone has destickered and laced those rims to silver hubs - I now know what mine will look like when finished!

Thanks bud. I probably could have done better, didn't even align the cogs right. But I really wanted the wheels built up :)

I forgot that today is a national holiday here in Germany so the workshop is closed. Some photos anyway:
Had to relace the first few spokes to get this right haha

Love them!

oh stop teasing and fookin build it already! :)
Yeah. I used soap and water and it really worked. Haven't had to remove them though, but that will be a job for WD 40 me thinks.
