If the straight seat tube you've drawn in met the bottom bracket in the correct place, you'd get away with an indent;)

...it would need a seatpost with more set back. Or, to put it another way, to hit that saddle set back, the tube angle would have to be slacker and a straight one would still hit the tyre.
