First run since December last night, only covered 2 miles running (avg: 10:30/mile) with about half a mile walking in between and could have probably stretched it out a little but didn't want to overdo it on my first go given my current weight.
Running carrying 120kg sucks, but it's one of the few things that will get rid of the weight so I can be lighter when I run so I guess my own advice to myself is "suck it up, fatty".
quads were feeling it and kept getting a snaking quick sharp pain in my left foot for a bit but I think that was just it protesting at being forced to run again.
had a nice hot bath and was fine on my cycle to work albeit a little bit sore.
Good on you. You'll be surprised how quickly it all starts to come back, especially given the wealth of knowledge you carry. Definitely not like starting from scratch.
