  • Reminds me of many other films. Seems derivative

  • Will Jah Jah Binks be in this one?

  • All those Gungans will be lost in time, like sand in rain?

  • Also, isn't the vehicle in the thumbnail a thinly disguised Lamborghini Countach?

  • could be, I sold my Countach,
went ok but the seats were shite

  • Re-watched The Vanishing (Dutch version) a couple of nights ago. Still excellent. And hadn't noticed the cycling metaphor strung throughout the film when I first saw it.

(Not surprising now - only re-watched it because I discovered it was written by the same author as The Rider).

  • I found it pretty damn creepy... of course with such an ending it's hard to mess up, but eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek!!!! nonetheless :)

  • Tickled. Was expecting a Louis Theroux style light docco about the weird world of "competitive tickling". Ended up having nightmares... Worth a watch.

  • I watched Willow Creek the other day, it's a found footage documentary about a guy and his girlfriend who go in search of Bigfoot.
It was not that good, apart from a tense 15 minute single shot inside a tent, where noises wake them and they are trying to figure out WTF is happening outside.

  • Bladder runner looks a bit white washy.

  • In the original, white people were the do-gooders who lived above the city streets, and an ethnic mix lived in the lower levels - that social hierarchy was part of the dystopia, along with "city speak". The novel also had strong social themes too...

  • Novel?

  • You've lost me.

  • I can only assume you are asking what Novel of Blade Runner out of sarcasm. Is that correct?

  • There's more than one?

  • Blade Runner The Novel by Dan Brown?

  • Blade: Runner, it's about a vampire who competes in the Olympics as a 200m sprinter.
20.49 refers to the qualifying time he needs to make it on the team.

  • Does he shoot his girlfriend in that one?

  • Initially you are lead to believe a plucky rag-tag bunch of misfit bobsleighers from Jamaica did it, but turns out the Germans were fitting them up.

  • They plan to tunnel under the fence on a motorbike at half time, but despite being 4-1 down, stay on to win the game. They escape over the Alps with the gold medals, but haven't accounted for their weight...

  • Alien: Covenant, directorial debut from some Ridley Scott guy - Seen it yet?

  • Sorry, I was wrong about that. He also directed that Hovis advert

  • That's right - with the kid on the bike. "I were right about that saddle".
