I have a Canon 28mm f/1.8 that I'm not using anymore. Still have box and stuff somewhere in the attic. I am based in Belgium, so not really interesting for you maybe.

Anyone after M6? Black. Mint.
I have decided I like chrome more.
-
• #279
The all black ones are nice.

Dunno .. the matte finish on chrome is nicer (to me). The black one has 'Weltzar' engraving on it, one of the early ones. I do need another body but I might get a CL or a voigtlander or even earlier M like M3/2/4

Lens for sale: Canon 24-70 2.8L mk ii - £1450
New, retail boxed, unused, purchased from John Lewis late last year. UK warranty card.
Why? Ended up getting a super deal on the same lens when I was overseas, hence trying to off load this lens.

These are cheaper online.
-
• #283
I've found cheaper in Hong Kong.
-
• #284
Why should someone pay you £1450 if it can be had cheaper online, though?

• #285
CLE is amazeballs with dedicated flash.

That's a great question. My guess is that they wouldn't buy from me if they didn't want a valid UK/Canon warranty. Here's is eGlobals address:
West Wing, 2/F,
822 Lai Chi Kok Road,
Lai Chi Kok,
Kowloon
HONG KONGThey provide the warranty themselves (not through Canon), because it's considered a "grey import" when you buy from eGlobal. I bought from John Lewis UK (Authorised Canon dealer).
Cf. http://www.camerapricebuster.co.uk/blog/?p=517
I'm sure there are many happy eGlobal customers... nice to have choices I suppose.

I have another one! Chrome. Which I prefer, dunno why though. Fucking love shooting it, last 3 rolls i am experimenting f/11 1 stop push, zone focus so toying with an idea of a viewfinder-less bessa with 28mm. Just need another body that's not/cheaper than M6.

I went to Park Camera's today and felt rather like Eeyore with his (popped) balloon, putting all my camera gear into a bag, taking it all out, putting it into another bag, taking it all out.
I've come to the conclusion that the Hadley Small is too, well, small, and that the Pro looks to be the right size (23mm, 35mm, 56mm and an as-yet un-purchased 55-140 zoom along with the body, one of the shorter lenses likely to be attached to the body).
Should I consider anything else before asking for a Hadley Pro for my birthday?

Yes, PM me how much $$ you're after!

Looked at Domke? I have an F6, which is like THE classic F2 but a bit smaller
I think the F803 is closest to the Hadley Pro in their range though. -
• #296
Hadley Pro is great
Domke J803 (the better material version of an F803) is great, but in a different way
Working in Soho? Buy the Billingham
Working in Sudan? Buy the Domke -

I was hoping you buy my small so I can get pro :(

Thad Hadley Pro bag looks bigoted as fuck.
-
• #299
Been rocking a hadley pro for ten years as an every day bag. It's extremely well made and has held up well. Bit grubby but it has character...
