That bar bag is nice. What is it?

It's a Swift Paloma.
I really rate it. I stopped using it for a while because I got something bigger, but I've been using it again the last few weeks and it really is great. Well thought out. -

Yes, and weigh an extraordinary amount for an unloaded bike.
@edscoble clearance for 50mm 650b baby!
@jammy wouldn't push the current one beyond 1.9" Tried. Failed.@ChainBreaker Soma Wolverine. Ben Thomsons Cycleworks in SE is distributor and has a bunch hanging around. So much want.

Not the best of pics (taken this morning in a rush to the station) but here's a readers wife. On the train to Bangor for a week of wild camping around Wales ending in Bristol. I love this bike more than anything.

I'm going camping this weekend with two of my mates, they will be 'bikepacking'. If either of them has their cup clipped outside their luggage, I'm unclipping it and throwing it the fucking sea.

Your setup looks pretty much perfect! enjoy.

• #15389
Haha! I'm glad you get the irony of it all.

That's super nice! Why did you for a mtb crankset though? (Out of curiosity)
-
• #15391
Bought it on 'ere for a very fair price and that's what was on it. Haven't really changed very much since gettin it. All my other bikes have fixed cogs. These spangly gear things confuse me. They're some sort of black magic, right? It works well as it is, so figured just let it be. Will wait till stuff starts to wear out before fully trying to understand (spend money on) if there could be something better for it.

The think with those enamel mug is that they're functionally shit as well. They get incredibly hot so you burn your hands and lips, and then the drink gets cold because metal's a terrible insulator.

I'm the happy owner of the bike and bag! The frame is size M from 2014 and the bag is a size L. Fits like a glove!

Enamel mugs are functionally great. You can drop em and they don't break, they can hold a hot tasty beverage, you can clip em to your saddlebag to look like a cunt. Try touring with yer mums best china, see how long that lasts.
